About 2 years ago, my oldest son, Kaiden, took a job at a family-owned donut shoppe called Dough Co. After leaving a previous job that was exhausting and taking a few months off, he committed himself to this new position. Over the next two years, Kaiden worked hard and enjoyed his job, and the family owners appreciated his efforts. Recently, after those two years, they made him Regional Manager, meaning he now helps run all the donut shops from Dover to the new shoppe in North Canton, which opened on March 2nd, 2026. When the family announced the new North Canton store, they asked Kaiden if he knew anyone who could do chalkboard art, and he referred them to me! I used to do chalkboards at Samantha's in North Canton and Twisted Citrus before stepping back in 2019 during the pandemic. I spent 22 late-night hours working on the new shop's board and menu.
